Dr. David Samari Informs on Your Prostate Health on “Sunday House Call”

On Sunday, October 15th, Dr. David Samati hosted another successful Livestream on his web show, “Sunday Housecall.” Every Sunday browse to his website, Samaditiv.com, every Sunday at 12:30 pm EDT to hear the Chief of Robotic Surgery and Chairman of Urology at New York City’s Lennox Hill hospital offer his professional input and experience on the world of medicine today. Recently, Dr. Samadi interviewed Dr. Cynara Cooper, Northwell Health Staten Island University Hospital’s Chief of Breast Surgery.

“October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I thought who better to interview than Dr. CynaraCoomer, one of the primary catalysts in establishing the first Comprehensive Breast Center on Staten Island,” says Dr. Samadi in an introduction . “… [she is] one of the foremost experts in breast health.”

Dr. Coomer formally operated a successful practice in Mt. Sinai before taking on the esteemed position she holds today and puled from her vast medical experience to help Dr. Samadi educate the audience on important women’s health issues. She made sure not only to give a thorough review of on issues of the breast with Dr. Samadi but also to inform on prostate issues to educate the men as well as the women on their on their health.

Dr. Samadi is himself no stranger to the prostate. He built his career as a urologic oncologist trained in robotic surgery. With the use of robotics and the latest technology, Dr. Samadi offers minimally invasive treatments for prostate cancer, with laparoscopic radical prostatectomy and laparoscopic robotic radical prostatectomy being among the procedures he performs. Outside of the operating table, Dr. Samadi works towards recognizing cancer before becomes malignant and plays a key role in the training of surgeons and urologists to spread his well-regarded professionalism and technique to others. He particularly well regarded for the outstanding success of the SMART Surgery he pioneered. His resume includes work towards the early diagnostic treatment of malignant prostate cancer, and he is one of the only urologic surgeons in the United States trained in oncology, open, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery.
